     I have used the Quick on a Winston BL5 8 weight and have been very impressed with the weight and the drag system. This fall it was put to the test with nearly 100 Chum Salmon being fought and landed using the reel. We found the reel to be perfect for a light weight fly rod such as the BL5, it compliments the rod with perfect balance and no wobble when the fish runs hard. The drag runs very evenly with no grabbing when the fish slows down. In December it was used in Fiji fighting Barracuda, Trevally and Maceral, once again the reel stood up to the blistering runs of big Barracuda with smooth tension and no wobble. The salt water is brutal on equipment and I have to say the reel washed up great. The flutting allowing the fresh water to completely flush the reel of saltwater. After a few hundred fish teh reel still looks great and works wonderfully, great job with this reel!
